Holiday Boat Parades

Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but boating is so delightful. And since we’ve no place to go, let it glow! Let it glow! Let it glow!

It’s time to deck the hulls! The holiday season is in full swing and Christmas is just a countdown away. For boaters in some parts of the country, the month of December brings cold weather and winterization. While some boats may be nestled all snug in their beds while visions of summer days dance in their heads, other boats in warmer parts of the country patiently await the arrival of the holidays for their time to shine. Bring on the Christmas boat parades and let’s make it a nautical holiday season.

Boaters are breaking out the tinsel, untangling their string lights, cutting out snowflakes, and dusting off boxes of ornaments. So before you start decorating around the house, take a look at a few of our favorite boats all decked out for the holidays.

One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish—this sailboat has taken on the holiday theme of a Dr. Seuss Christmas.

A Christmas tree, hanging icicle lights, and the Grinch flying away off the top of the flybridge — this is one boat that knows how to shine.

This Christmas vessel gives a whole new meaning to the nautical term, “inflatables.” Say hello to Santa Claus, Frosty, and all of their other inflatable friends.

Accompanied by three of his helpers and led by his faithful reindeer, Rudolph, it looks like this Santa is ready for an island Christmas
