2015 Custom Gentleman's Runabout

Woodchuck is available for sale for the very first time. She is a Ken Hankinson design 20 custom built all-mahogany gentlemans runabout completed in 2015. A brand-new Pleasure Craft Marine 5.7L 343hp inboard engine was installed in August 2018 to replace the original 303HP motor. The engine has a one-year warranty from PCM. There were only 76 hours on the hull at time the new engine was installed. She is in excellent condition!

This one of a kind beauty is a piece of art. No one else on the lake or the river would have one like it or are likely to have one that could go so fast. She cruises effortlessly at ski tow speeds, can rocket past the plastic boats, or just toodle down the waterway to happy hour.

Built by a professional engineer to exacting standards using milled furniture grade mahogany joined together in the cold-molded process with West System marine epoxy and silicon bronze fasteners.  This is the kind of vessel that will outlive you and your kids if properly cared for. There are 4 layers of 1/8 diagonally laid planks on the sides and 5 on the bottom to make a very strong cocoon attached to the frames. The final longitudinal layer is book matched to present a stunning look. The forward and aft cockpits were custom formed and fitted and professionally upholstered. Even the unique ladder back helm chairs were custom made.

The twin axle trailer was custom made by made by Macatawa Bay Boat Works specifically for this boat. It has a little bit of garage rash but otherwise is in new condition.

This boat is strong, beautiful and fast. It is not a cheap replica nor was it slapped together by an amateur. I encourage you to come see it to confirm for yourself. The boat was professionally surveyed with a replacement value of $120K. I am pricing it for a quick sale at $69,000 OBO. Come and get it to enjoy right away.
