2010 Cobalt 242
This beautiful Cobalt 242 needs nothing but a new home! Over $11K in new stereo, $7K for new custom trailer with receipts!! The engine is the MerCruiser 496 Mag with Corsa Captain's Call exhaust. The lower unit is a Bravo 3 outdrive with an extra set of propellers that will come with the boat. The stereo consists of a Fusion MS-UD755 marine digital media receiver with a remote at the helm. Driving the system are three JL Audio amps, one JL Audio M1000, and two JL Audio M800 marine amplifiers putting out 2,600 watts. The three amps power two white JL Audio M12IB6-SG-WH subs (that weigh almost 24 pounds a piece!), three sets of gray and black JL Audio M770-CCS-SG-TB component speakers with blue LED light rings and with JL Audio tweeters mounted against the diamond stitch interior. As a former audio engineer I can say with all confidence that this is the best stereo I have ever owned and I have owned some nice stereos in my time. The stereo is amazingly loud AND clear all the way up to full volume. Three batteries keep the tunes rocking and they are all sealed AGM batteries on two sets of Perko switches so you can be sure to get back to the dock even if you let the tunes run all day and into the night. The cockpit features blue LED lighting through out. Blue Underwater LED lights installed on 6/21/2019. The boat comes with a $500 Mantus anchor with stainless steel 15 foot lead chain and 200 feet of rope. A brand new black Cobalt cover is included as well. I have the tan snap in carpet that came with the boat, I just prefer the white deck as it looks really good and is very easy to clean. The boat has just over 400 Hobbs meter hours on it but most of that time is with the ignition being on and the engine off with the stereo running. An engine scan will show true engine on time and back those numbers up with hard data. The boat will be sold with a fresh oil change and fresh outdrive service and lube. I am the owner of the boat and not a broker. The boat is located near Joe Pool lake and can be shown easily. Test rides can be conducted after a serious offer and upon proof of funds or ability to purchase, I am a busy person and do not have time for tire kickers. I have the title in hand. Why am I selling the boat? I just purchased an airplane and at this point in my life I would rather be flying on those beautiful days that I would normally be at the lake. No brokers please! I am not in a hurry to sell the boat and I will entertain serious offers. Thank you for looking and please let me know if you have any questions.
