|Manufacturer Provided Description|
|The updated raised walkdeck design has allowed design changes that give the Carver 396 Motor Yacht a wider cabin - much roomier than one would expect. Adding to its appeal, the cabin living space has been combined into a spacious, open "great room" with plenty of salon seating and space for all sorts of extra amenities, like an end table, TV, and VCR. Two luxurious staterooms and two head compartments provide welcome privacy with the master head compartment providing separate head and shower compartments. Superb entertainment possibilities can be found everywhere, from the spacious cabin to the roomy bridge with its wetbar and L-shaped lounge - and the aft deck is no exception. Its integral bridge stairway and side deck wing doors provide convenient access, and the integral boarding platform with aft deck stairway and retractable boarding ladder make boarding easier.|

Introduced in 2000, the distinctive styling and spacious accommodations of the Carver 396 Motor Yacht (called the Carver 39 MY in 20056 and 40 MY in 2007) combined to create one of the most popular cruising yachts of her day. Carver sold a ton of these boatsno other motor yacht in her class matched the 390 when it came to space and comfort, and none surpassed her in versatility or value.
Below, the vast full-beam salonmade possible by raising the side decks to eye levelis an impressive display of high-gloss woodwork, Ultraleather seating, tiered cabin windows, and nearly seven feet of headroom. Both staterooms have walkaround queen berths, and the forward head is split with the shower stall to port and toilet compartment to starboard.
