Deck and Hull

Boarding the vessel onto the FRP swim platform and stepping through the transom gate, puts you in the aft cockpit. Here, on either side, there are access hatches to either hull. In each hull there is a separate Yanmar engine. There are decks on the port and starboard sides leading forward for fishing, anchoring and other uses. There are six cabin top hatches providing light and air to the cabins below. There is an electric Maxwell anchor windlass and a stainless-steel bow pulpit.

The hull construction is from a female mold, hand laid up, using appropriate layers of matte, cloth and woven roving with resin. There is a gel coat finish on the exterior portions of the vessel. The deck and superstructure are of the same type of construction; however, the deck has a nonskid pattern on the walking surface and is cored. There are transverse plywood bulkheads, intermittent framing and longitudinal stringers along with a deck-to-hull joint that gives the vessel its rigidity and stiffness.

From the aft cockpit, up a set of stairs takes you to the flybridge. Here there is an upper helm with adequate navigational aids and engine instrumentation, as well as adequate seating. This area is protected with a Plexiglas and stainless-steel venturi, and a canvas bimini top with stainless steel bows and Isinglass enclosure. There is also an FRP radar arch.
