|Propulsion Type||Single Inboard|
At day's end, you'll welcome the opportunity to retreat to the relaxing living quarters. From the forward end of the helm deck, you will enter through a centerline sliding hatch and down three steps into the large salon with its 6'4" headroom. A well laid-out galley with Corian counters is to port. Opposite to starboard is a large U-shaped cherry dinette that converts to a double berth if needed for extra guests.
Unusual on a boat this size, there is a private stateroom on a lower deck that features a V-berth that converts to a double berth with an insert, along with twin cedar-lined hanging lockers and cabinet storage. A full head with shower rounds out the interior package on this well-designed and comfortable Pilot 34.

The Mainship 34 Pilot is one of the most economical, practical and popular open-water express models ever built. She is an enlarged version of the Mainship 30 Pilot, a versatile (and affordable) Down East cruiser introduced by Mainship in 1998. Where the 30 Pilot is essentially a day boat, the larger interior of the 34 provides the volume required for extended cruising. The extended hard top with an aft drop-curtain offers excellent protection from inclement weather for the captain and guests while the double-wide helm and companion seats along with port and starboard side lounges ensure their comfort. A large hydraulically-assisted engine access hatch in the cockpit makes it easy to access the engine compartment to work on all her vital parts.
Below, the roomy main salon has a large dinette that easily converts to a double berth and includes plenty of storage. The teak-trimmed, full-service galley offers plenty of storage, ample Corian counter space, a microwave, cooktop and a refrigerator with a small freezer. There is even a slide-out pantry for convenience. The cabin has a large head complete with Corian covered vanity, lots of storage and a shower. Forward in the stateroom, hanging lockers and drawers have room to store gear for a weekend or for a month. The comfortable V-berth guarantees a great night's sleep.
The 34 Pilot is inexpensive, safe and easy to operate with her single Yanmar diesel that will cruise at 14 knots, bow thruster, tilt-away helm, walk-through transom door and wide side decks. The 34 Pilot also offers a degree of safety with her long keel that will protect her and her running gear from groundings while her steep plumb bow and gentle rise of the sheer give her the ability to cut through head seas for a more comfortable ride.
