Mechanical Equipment

A freshwater cooled 76 hp Yanmar diesel has the power you need, and the installation of the engine and the 8kw Kohler generator are low in the boat, easily accessible and quiet.

The Yanmar can easily make 7+ knots when the wind does not cooperate & the 8Kw Kohler generator provides all the power needed for air conditioning & other appliances when not on shore power.

Cruising boats need extended range in electrical requirements.  The Hunter 450 comes with an oversize 100 amp battery charger, inverter and oversize batteries to keep all systems operating at thier peak.

Fuel:  One, 100 gallon plastic polypropylene tank, with access hatch and tank gage under aft cabin berth.  (fuel polished and tank cleaned 2018)

Water:  Total tankage 193 gallons in three FRP tanks.  Starboard midship tank = 94 gallons; Starboard forward tank = 55 gallons; Port midship tank = 55 gallons

Water fill Plates:  On deck starboard.

Galley Equipment

The U shaped galley is secure when underway.  It has separate, lighted refrigerator and freezer compartments, dual stainless steel sinks, and water filter.  Also included are a gimballed range/oven, microwave and plenty of secured storage.

The Hunter Passage 450 was designed to provide the ultimate in comfort & livability.  Six foot six inch headroom throughout the boat.  The spacious salon is well ventilated & well lit with its many ports & hatches.  The aft cabin is huge.  A real queen size berth with access on both sides.  Generous amount of storage in cedar lined hanging lockers and storage shelves..  The combination bathtub & shower are a unique feature & the desk, computer station, cosmetic table are perfect for cruising or living aboard.  The forward cabin has a full-size double berth & a full set of cedar lined drawers below the berth & cedar lined hanging lockers plus a private head & shower.  If you are taking an extended cruise or living aboard, the fully equipped galley makes it easy.  Plenty of secured storage for provisions, wide Corian fiddled counters give plenty of prep space & the dual opening, lighted refrigerator/freezer makes access quick & easy.  Twin stainless steel sinks & gimballed range/oven plus a microwave round out the galley features.

Peaceful Easy's wide open center cockpit is comfortable underway & a great place to entertain & relax when in port or at anchor.  She is equipped with a full array of navigation electronics.  All sail handling lines are led back to the cockpit making it easy to control the roller furling jib & roller furling main.

Her Mantus stainless steel anchor & heavy duty Lewmar windlass make anchoring easy.  The sugar scoop transom is a feature that makes getting on & off the boat an easy task.  The transom lockers are huge & easily accessible.  You can easily stow a fold up dingy & small motor or even dive tanks
