Manufacturer Provided Description
At just 26 feet on the waterline, the Bristol Channel Cutter has more load-carrying capacity than many 34-footers. She has 218 cubic feet of interior space below the waterline, which is where a load has to be carried in order to contribute to stability. The more space below the waterline, the more room for water, fuel, chain, canned goods and all the other equipment needed for extended cruising. Moreover, she is seaworthy and sails well, performing in all kinds of weather in a way that will quickly establish your faith in her. This boat has been cruised across the Pacific many times. Owners report excellent pointing ability and easy, 150-mile days under working sails in the trade winds. The hull is hand-laminated, solid fiberglass - no core material. The stem and bottom of the keel are especially heavy for great strength and impact resistance. We back our osmosis protection with a five-year warrantee. To compare this boat, do what boat builders do and compare its price-per-pound. Divide its price by displacement, and you may find this little cutter to be one of the best buys on the market.
