The Carver 405 is a heavily built double-cabin cruiser with a spacious floorplan and a solid fiberglass deep 20 degree deadrise hull. The boat has a beam of nearly 14 feet, making her one of the largest motoryachts in her class. Her efficient two-stateroom interior is arranged with the galley and dinette down from the salon. Angled double berths are found in each stateroom. There are two heads with a separate stall shower in the master head. The light maple woodwork and the large windows make the interior feel even larger than it is. The enclosed aft deck, large enough for a small crowd, and the walkaround helm console on the flybridge provide plenty of topside seating. Canvas and enclosures from the flybridge all the way around the aft deck are in excellent condition.
This ultra clean boat is well maintained by its Type A owner. From the spotless engine room all the way up to the mastlight, this boat does not show its age. If you are in the market for a double-cabin motoryacht, this one should be at the top of your list.
