|Category||Trawlers, Motor Yachts|
|Propulsion Type||Twin Inboard|
The interior of Ladyhawk was built of high-quality, varnished teak veneer with a teak and holly sole and solid teak cabinetry. Her mattresses are of thick, high density foam covered in a tan designer fabric and her salon cushions have a foam core covered with a high quality, deep forest green, Ultra Suede material. She also has beautiful, form-fitted, duvet covers for all mattresses.
The interior is very bright and airy with: eight double (fixed/opening) trunk cabin ports w/screens; six double (fixed/opening) wheelhouse windows w/screens; two wheelhouse deck entrance doors; nine large fixed wheelhouse windows; two cabin overhead opening hatches; and one aft cabin opening hatch w/screens.
There is over six-feet three-inches of standing headroom throughout the three cabins and Ladyhawk can sleep four adults in complete privacy.
Forward Guest Stateroom
The forward stateroom is three steps down from the salon/wheelhouse. It features solid teak ceiling outboard along the hull, off-white laminated bulkheads with solid teak trim, V-berth with filler and a teak chain locker hatch up and forward of berth. Aft to port of the V-berth is a large, cedar-lined, teak hanging locker with louvered door and two teak storage drawers aft.
Forward Ensuite Head
Aft to starboard of the V-berth is an enclosed head. It features:
Aft and Centerline of V-Berth
Aft and centerline of the V-berth are four teak steps leading up to the salon/wheelhouse. Behind the second step is a row of master battery switches for 12V power to the engine, house and genset. Above these stairs is a teak door that provides privacy from the salon.
The salon/wheelhouse/galley is three steps up from the forward guest stateroom. The inside helm is directly to starboard. A hand crafted, teak, fold-up chair is provided for helm seating. There is a teak door to starboard of the helm which provides convenient access to the deck. Directly aft of the helm is a teak bar with spirits storage and a U-Line icemaker below.
For a thirty-six foot trawler, the main salon of Ladyhawk is very spacious and incorporates the elegant teak and upholstery typically found on Grand Banks yachts.
The galley is to port of the inside helm and runs fore and aft. Since the galley is up and in the wheelhouse/salon area, there is excellent lighting and ventilation.
Above the white laminated countertop, there is an array of overhead, drop-down, teak cabinets for dish storage. Immediately aft of the countertop, is a beautiful teak cabinet with storage above and paper towel dispenser with glass/bottle rack below.
The countertop has a large SS sink with hot/cold pressure water controlled by a single lever Delta faucet. Below the sink is a set of teak storage drawers and cabinets with a flatware storage compartment above.
Below and aft of the countertop, there is a Polar Mate 12V refrigerator/freezer and forward, is a Seaward, Hillerange/Princess, three burner range/oven with Seaward LPG solenoid (LPG tank stored in flybridge vented locker).
Forward and to port of the helm, is a teak trash bin.
The galley has dual overhead 12V lighting and one (1) 120V GFCI outlet.
|Electrical & Plumbing|
A majority of Ladyhawks hot and cold water systems were re-plumbed in 2008.
|Deck & Flybridge|
Ladyhawks deck is laid out in Ken Smiths classic, trunk cabin design with: deep (two foot) bulwarks circumscribing wide teak decks; SS stanchions mounted on teak cap rails with teak handrails on top; aft cockpit with deck above trunk cabin; traditional mast and boom for steadying sail; and a flybridge to complement the inside helm. In addition to these basic features, Ladyhawk (excluding her teak decks) comes to market with highly varnished, exterior teak trim with green Sunbrella covers to minimize yearly maintenance. She also has matching green sunscreens for all windows and ports to decrease cabin heat and reduce UV bleaching of interior teak.
The flybridge is two levels up from the main deck and has SS guard rails with teak steps leading up from portside. The flybridge is a molded fiberglass unit with teak decks, wide helm console with storage under and venturi windshield. The helm, which is to starboard, has: a varnished teak wheel; engine controls; electronics; and twin, molded fiberglass (front/back) seats to port and starboard. Aft of the helm is a beautiful, varnished, teak-folding table, which provides comfortable seating for two (2) adults, and directly to port, is a large, portable cooler. Additional flybridge features include: SS guard rails with green Sunbrella side curtains; painted aluminum mast on hinged tabernacle with boom, SS standing rigging, spreader lights, blocks and tackle; radar dome mounted on mast with navigation lights and antennas; enclosed and vented LPG locker; and a full flybridge, SS framed, bimini with green Sunbrella canvas.
