"Wimsey" is a classic S&S design, mast head rigged 1988 Tartan 34-2. She is one of 110 Tartan 34-2 built between 1984 and 1989. She is the shoal draft lead "Scheel Keel version with a draft of 4'05".

 This Tartan 34-2 is a joy to sail and is highly a regarded racer/cruiser that is both seaworthy and sea-kindly.  This Tartan 34-2 is set up for easy shorthanded sailing with the main sheet and sheet winches within easy reach from the helm.  This Tartan 34-2 has been very well maintained and is in excellent condition.  This Tartan 34-2 is well equipped with all the equipment needed or comfortable and safe coastal cruising including wheel steering, autopilot, dodger and bimini, GPS chartplotter, roller furling Genoa, air conditioning, refrigeration, Yanmar diesel engine, Simrad wind, speed and depth instruments, asymmetrical spinnaker, mainsail with Dutchman system an Strong track and much, much more great equipment which is detailed on the Equipment page of this website.
