1988 Egg Harbor Wahoo 26
1988 26' Pacemaker (Egg Harbor) center console Wahoo. The boat was a "project" by an eccentric and knowledgeable boater in New Jersey. He spared no expense in its refit. It has been rebuilt with new decks, gel coat, and tower. 370HP Volvo D6-370 diesel with 360 hours. New Garmin GPS plotter/sounder (1/2019) with radar. Electric windlass, Simrad autopilot. New curtains. Two 45 gallon tanks. New Volvo transmission 6/2019 with full warranty. The Wahoo is almost a cult boat. Soundings just did a review on it. They are sought after and often used by charter fisherman. This is undoubtedly the best Wahoo out there, possibly the best ever. Stored inside and out of the water and sun.
The boat is tunneled for a bow thruster. The joystick and controller may work, but the motor needs to be replaced. In any case you certainly don't need a bow thruster as the boat is well balanced and will turn on a dime with the helm to starboard and alternating forward and aft gear. It can back into slips with ease.
