Well cared for and continually updated over the years including engine and generator in 2007, electronics in 2009, Awlgrip paint in 2009.
This model offers the two stateroom layout and is set for a family to cruise and also for the weekend fisherman with an ample cockpit complete with tackle center and prep area. You enter the salon through a large sliding door with a full galley to port and a salon with pull-out sofa starboard. The teak woodwork interior is in fantastic condition. A few steps down is a guest stateroom with upper and lower bunks. Across the companionway is a full head to port with stall shower. Forward is the master with a large V-berth and great storage.
The bridge is accessed via a port side ladder and features a hard top and full enclosure. The forward facing bench seat offers guests nice visibility while underway and the captain and mate seats enjoy a well laid out helm station.
Hatteras introduced this model with an updated running bottom in 1983 and in she remained in production through1987. A new designer for Hatteras, Jim Wynne introduced the prop pocket design element to decrease shaft angle and give a shallower draft than her predecessors. She exhibits the classic "Hatteras lines" and is built the Hatteras way with a solid fiberglass bottom, a deep-V bow entry and cored hull sides for added strength. With these seakeeping attributes and the re-fit of Yanmar 440hp engines she cruises a comfortable 22kts.
Whether you are a cruising family or a fisherman looking for a flybridge convertible in this category you need to check this baby out.
