Deck and Hull Equipment

Houseboat Hull withwwldwd steel cabin house. The hull is constructed of steel welded plates. The decks are constructed of steel for aft and foredecks, With carpet covered plywood soal for the interior cabin area.  The superstructure consists of welded steel plates , plywood , insulation and finished with wood paneling on the interior. The cosmetic condition of the superstructure was found to be in average condition for vintage and service. 

 

Exterior Hull : Blue paint (recent)

Deck construction: 

Welded steel decks fore and aft with black paint and nonskid surface, three hinged boarding gates installed forward and serviceable. 

Upper deck with Carpeted sole , aluminum framed screen enclosure and tubular still covering with teen roof just installed.

Vessel is an all welded steel constructed 2 -Deck river boat/houseboat  design with stern peddlewheel propulsion. 

The houseboat has:

Is located centerline forward cabin area and equipped  with double stainless basin  with drainage not connected and Frigidaire stove , top and bottom  refrigerator with freezer,  GE spacemaker washer dryer and the magic chief microwave oven, all appliances are new.

Comfort Aire 22,000 BTU minisplit type air conditioner unit ,  wiring and refrigerant piping is disconnected at the evaporator . The condenser unit is installed on top of the pilot house and the air handler unit is installed port forward cabin area.

2 - 250 Volt 100  amp main breakers installed no shore power inlets  installed

 The vessels freshwater system is supplied from two polyethylene tanks , located amidships bilge area.  Pressure is supplied by 110 vac pump . The vessel also equipped with a 12 gallon water heater by A.O. Smith located port forward closet area with a built-in pressure relief valve.  Water heater is new and not installed.

Propulsion: 

Main propulsion Is provided by thei 142 inch diameter by 152 inch length stern paddle wheel with that bowl 2 x 10 wood buckets. The propulsion engine is a 6 cylinder fresh water cooled and battery started  Cummins Diesel driving a Hydraulic pump to the hydraulic Paddlewheel motor model 6M62500. Propulsion engine is mounted on the exterior on the port deck wing extension with steel guard and cover. 

 

Fuel system:

Vessel has two ports and two starboard integral  fuel tanks Off the bottom drawer variety with approximate 500 gallon total capacity located in the wings of Tankage/hull compartment with the MSD sanitation system . Tanks are fitted with a above deck vent lines and filler spuds set on side decks . fuel supply line is of steel piping with AC electric booster pump and flexibile Aeroquip section at the engine connection.
