The Southern Cross 28 is an attractive double-ender designed by Thomas Gillmer who also designed the legendary Southern Cross 31 and the Allied Seawind. She has lovely lines, is stoutly built, and has an attractive and spacious interior for a boat her size. She has a modified full keel with skeg-hung rudder. Joyce Ann is a blue water capable cutter with many upgrades. Go anywhere with confidence.
She sailed the waters of Martha's Vineyard until 1994, and has been a Great Lakes boat since, sailing on Lake Huron and Lake Michigan.
