1979 Marinette 37 Double Cabin

The Marinette 37 Double Cabin offers all of the comforts and conveniences of home, plus exceptional boating performance.  The light weight all-aluminum structure permits efficient long-range cruising at hull speed, reasonably efficient cruising at 25 mph., and the ability to outrun storms at in excess of 35 mph.  The large bridge offers a commanding view of all corners of the boat, and your surroundings, with seating for five.  Additional outside seating areas are provided on the bow, with a 10' wide padded seating area, and on the aft deck.

This boat has accommodations found on much larger yachts, including two state rooms, two heads, a stall shower with glass door, two reverse-cycle air conditioning/heating units, three-burner stove, oven, refrigerator, water heater, and ample storage for long trips.  The engine room houses a 6.5 KW Onan generator with enough power to run every system when away from the dock for long periods.  The main salon is light and airy with 360 degrees of windows, all of which open.  The V- berth even has a custom made memory foam matress.

This boat has been routinely serviced, and upgrades have been made as needed to keep it looking and running like a much newer boat.  Canvas, carpeting, upholstery and electronics have all been replaced or added during our ownership.  Particular attention has been paid to the bottom, which has been inspected and painted, as needed, annually.

The reliability of the Chrysler 440s and Velvet Drive transmissions cannot be overstated.  We have traveled extensively on this boat, often in group trips, and it has proven itself to be the most reliable boat in the fleet.  The large engine room provides easy access to all components.  Engine maintenance is easy, and all parts are readily available.

We have done significant market research, and have intentionally priced this Double Cabin below, in some cases substantially below, similar boats on the market.  The decision to sell it has been a difficult one, and we don't want the process to linger.
