1966 Higgins LCVP

A Higgins design LCVP Landing Craft converted pilot house design for commercial use. The vessel is presently in storage and no longer needed for transporting construction materials.  The landing craft is equipped with a GM 671 Diesel motor with approximately 4000 hours (dry exhaust equipped with a Walters keel cooler system) with a hydraulic winch to open/close front door, a stern mounted hydraulic arm with winch for mooring maintenance.(not shown in present picture-more coming)  Speed of this vessel is 8 knots loaded or empty. The cargo deck has been completely restored along with reconditioning of the keel and metal skid plates.  The marine electronics have been removed, DC wiring has been replaced.  The vessel was registered in the State of Connecticut and is not certified.  The owner has completed restoration of the pilot house, along with a fresh coat of paint on the hull and top sides.  She is ready to go for her next owner
