Broker's Comments

Pelagic hasnt exactly fallen on hard timesrather the interest has waned and the boat sits in storage with the systems winterized. There is a proper shrink wrap winter cover in place. The bottom paint is stripped off and is ready for repaint. The varnish is in good shapenot peeling and certainly does not need to be stripped. There was a Force 10 cabin heater that has been removed. All in all the boat is in good condition. As mentioned, the diesel has been removed and its condition is unknownbut it is included in the sale. Pelagic is in need of some maintenancebut is certainly a worthwhile project.

Pelagic is currently in storage with a shrink wrap cover. It is built of 1 1/4 African Mahogany on oak frames. The deck was replaced in 1988. She is fit with original varnished sitka spruce spars with stainless steel rigging. The full length mahogany rudder is keel hung. Coverboards and trim are teak. Power is from a Volvo diesel with unknown condition. Pelagic is being offered at a discounted price in hopes that an enthusiastic new owner will take over.
