TEAL was conceived by famous H.C Hanson (worked for Ted Geary) and Leigh Coolidge, Seattle Naval Architects, as an Alaska Fisheries Patrol Vessel DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR and served in the ALEUTIAN Islands for years as well as all along the Alaska coastline. She has gone through 2 very significant full restorations and repower by the previous owner and the present owner, bringing her to full yacht quality and finish. She is a fully capable ocean passagemaker with 2000 gallons of fuel and modern Cummins 855-NTA which pushes her along very efficiently at 8kts.
This yacht is extremely well thought out with systems designed for minimum crew and is easily handled by two people. Full stand up-walk around engineroom with easy access to Main engine and two generators, custom watermaker and diesel forced air furnace system. Tool and parts storage very well organized. Main Engine and Generators are serviced with built in oil change evacuation pump systems. The crew double berth aft, is accessed by ladder through the raised trunk cabin onto aft deck. There is potential for adding an additional stateroom aft with some creative design thought.
The main deck accommodations are expansive with raised Pilothouse forward, Port/Starboard teak Dutch doors with upper panel window, large leather settee, current electronics suite and wing control stations in addition to central PROPER SHIPS wheel, massive Ritchie SHIPS compass, engine controls and instrument and electrical panels.
Down two steps to the generous Salon featuring a large "L" shaped leather settee forward, and aft a large custom dining table and opposite settees, leather finished. A beautiful wood carving adorns the forward bulkhead. Galley is aft and will accommodate several people while preparing meals, new propane 4 burner stove, refrigerator, trash compactor, and even a garbage disposal. Expansive food prep counters with exquisite custom wood panel cabinetry providing excellent stores and cooking utensil storage. Double stainless steel sinks. Dutch door access to main deck from the galley, a total of 5 Dutch doors surround the main deck cabin as well as numerous large bronze portlights.

Separate 61hp Isuzu diesel powers the Wesmar Hydraulic bow thruster and hydraulic anchor windlass, handlling the 500lb anchor and 450 feet of 5/8" chain mounted forward in chain locker.
Forward on lower deck is the chain locker, followed by an expansive 4 bunk stateroom with 9' headroom and 4 bronze fully functioning port lights.
