Hull Lamination/Rolling

• The rolling of the hull has been consolidated in vacuum and post-treated in the furnace according to the rolling specif i cations; the entire process had been controlled with a sophisticated temperature monitoring system (thermo-hygrometer).

• Carbon Fibers have been used as Filling layers and as Local Reinforcements in respect with the rolling plans. The PVC (AIREX® C70) foam in the reticulated form has been used for the structural members. A complete water tight bulkhead on the portside / starboard side at 2.5 m, on the portside at 5 m, around the engine room with water tight door at 22.63 m.

Chain plates

All the chain plates have been built in composite material and are incorporated to the hull structure. Bushings and pivots are made in stainless steel 2205 and applied stiffeners are made in carbon fiber.

DECKS AND CABINS

The rolling of the deck and the cabins has been consolidated in vacuum and post-treated in an appropriate furnace according to the specifications of the rolling; the entire process had been controlled with a sophisticated temperature monitoring system (thermohygrometer).
