The 276 SSi cockpit features an ergonomic helm station with dual helm seating and port side bucket seat with flip-up bolster for additional seating options. From the aft sun lounge with storage, cockpit galley with pressure water, to the wraparound bow seating, this is one spacious boat for entertaining.
This is a beautiful 2007 Chaparral 276 SSx 29' open bow. She is in excellent condition and used only just came in! It is well powered by the 8.1L Volvo and easy to maneuver Duo-Prop drive system.
A 276 SSx offers plenty of seating and loads of storage. The arch not only looks stylish but is also multifunctional. Typically arches- radar bars- towers whatever you wish to call it have no use other than holding a couple lights and speakers and looking sweet. This one though, you can go wake boarding- skiing- knee boarding etc. off it! It also features the built on canvas shade with zip up enclosure option.
Another reason why this is a great Lake Ozark boat is because big bow riders are popular. This is due to the fact they are wide, and the wider the boat the better the ride. However, with to wide of a boat water sports becomes both and difficult and horribly uneconomical. The wake is too big basically to safely and comfortably do anything behind the boat when underway. Well at 9' wide, this 276 can handle rough water yet doesn't throw off a wake too big to see your kids behind you on a tube! It also has trims tabs to minimize bow slap and give you a wave busting beautiful blue bundle of boating bliss. As much of an alliteration as that may be, it's totally accurate.
The layout is simply great too, the massive integrated swim platform, walk through transom, collapsible aft sun pad with storage beneath, snap on covers, snap in carpet, double wide helm seat with bolster, upgraded stereo system, full instrumentation, and more are all reasons why this boat will make a lovely centerpiece on your dock this upcoming season!
