2006 Mainship Pilot 34 Rumrunner (Twin Engines)
The Mainship Pilot 34 has the seakeeping abilities of the lobster boats it has descended from. It has a steep plumb bow and a gentle rise of the sheer; both of these qualities give the Pilot 34 the ability to cut through head seas, while the rounded forward hull sections provide a soft entry. Flatter sections aft increase lift for speed and economy, and the deep full keel with a complete sand shoe gives stability and protection from grounding. In the cockpit, the Pilot 34 has double-wide helm and companion seats flanking the large hydraulically-assisted engine access hatch. The side lounges can double as berths with the removable backrests. A tilt-up console means easy access to electronics and wiring, and there is a built-in insulated cooler box as well as a standard transom door. Below, the cabin has a large head complete with Corian covered vanity, lots of storage, a shower, and even a VacuFlush head. The teak-trimmed galley offers plenty of storage, ample Corian counter space, a microwave, a dual cooktop, and a refrigerator and freezer. There is even a slide-out pantry for convenience. The large dinette easily converts to a double berth and includes plenty of storage. A color TV-VCR is standard and is easily viewed from the private forward stateroom, galley or dinette on its swivel system. Forward in the stateroom, hanging lockers and drawers will swallow gear for the weekend or a month. Extra-long innerspring berths guarantee a great night's sleep.

We are very pleased to present this 2006 Mainship Pilot 34 Rum Runner with twin 240HP Yanmar engines. This is a great boat in the down east tradition and lobsterman heritage. She has been well maintained and was just recently cleaned and decluttered for presentation. Mainship Pilots have a lot of room both above and below decks and they feature a great cabin layout! This particular model has a custom hard top with a forward access ladder so the kids can jump off the roof or sunbath to their heart's content. The custom structure also has a lot of overhead storage for paddles, fishing rods, etc. The large cockpit makes it great for dining out or suiting up for a dive! Inside the cabin there is plenty of room at the convertible dining area and prepare a gourmet meal at your three burner stove. A microwave and coffee maker round out the prep area and there is a half size refrigerator and freezer.
This boat is great for cruising to the Keys or the Bahamas and it's perfect for a couple to do part or all of the great loop. She is faster than a normal trawler and her sweeping bow can handle the rough times if you are caught out in the weather. She is safe and stable and alot of fun! There is a head with wet shower, she sleeps four, but works best with two for longer trips! She is set and ready to head out with a new owner. She is lift kept behind the owner's house so call and make an appointment to see her!
