Middle River, MD
2001 Carolina Classic 28 Express. The smallest big boat you'll ever own. Purchased 3 years ago, this 28 far exceeded all of our dreams/expectations. I do not know of another boat under 30 that can compare to this miniature sportfish. Solid Fiberglass, oversized cockpit, large recessed fish boxes, large transom livewell/additional fish holding, tower to see the marlin darting through your spread and those tunas crushing that ballyhoo on the long rigger, and plenty I'm missing to get everything you could want/dream of. We are putting her up for sale simply due to us outgrowing the boat and needing a boat that can comfortably handle crews of 8 in lieu of crews of 6.
Electronics: The helm is laid out with two screens on the oversized 32 helm configuration. Garmin 1242 xsv along side a vintage Furuno chart. Simrad AP24, Garmin VHF 215, Vintage VHF in overhead box. The tower is fully operational with a 1042xsv bail mounted along side a second AP24 controller and a GHS11 which is tied into the VHF215 in the helm (one vhf, two locations). For those dark morning commutes, key up the Garmin Fantom 24" Radome to lead the way. When it comes to finding fish, rely on the 1KW B275LHW w/ Hi/LO chirp. Don't forget to check the weather, sea conditions, sea temps, cleanliness, etc using the GXM 54 with the sirius fish mapping package.
Galley: V-Berth w/ insert, Table w/ Pole comes with Boat. Microwave, Fridge, Sink, Head, Ample Storage w/ overhead rod storage.
Cockpit: Large Cockpit, 4 rod rocket launcher, large recessed fish boxes, rigging station and tackle storage w/ cushion, transom livewell/additional fishbox, transom scuppers w/ flaps. With the right offer, will include a Nautical Design Fighting Chair.
Helm: Captains Chair, two man bench, oversized CC32 helm w/ above electronics package, two windshield wipers, windlass anchor controls.

As I'm sure I forgot to cover something regarding this battlewagon, please feel free to contact me for additional information. Our plans are to move forward with this boat until it is sold. With that noted, hours can/will certainly increase once the season is upon us again. (Early-Mid May). See last Photo for a sneak peak of this boat's ability to raise fish!
