Portland, ORSell a boat like this
Bayliner 4588. Best equipped with Bow Thruster, Mathers Conrolls, Fin Stabilizers, and more.
Speed & Distance
This boat has the usual trash compactor, ice maker, fridge, etc... The notable upgrades in the galley are the microwave and propane range.
This 4588 has the usual autopilot and older radar. A newer Garmin Radar is on the arch along with upgraded electronics with two Garmin displays, a 741 touch screen and large display 4012.
Master stateroom with double, a guest double, plus the office couch converts into 2 bunks. The master has its own head and tub/shower. There is a guest head amidship with a standing shower. Fresh water system includes a pump and pressure tank and two HW heaters. There is an upgrade of a water maker.
This 4588 is the best equipped I've seen. Along with all the standard equipment you will see in other 4588's, this has the following upgrades: Bowthruster. Dynamic hydraulic fin stabilizers. Four blade props, Dripless shaft seals. Pro Mariner galvanic isolator. Oil transfer system. And my favorite... Mathers Mico-Commander throttle controlls in pilot house, fly bridge, and cockpit. These are single lever pair controllers which combine throttle and fwd/rev transmission control. These controls along with the bow thruster makes this a very easy-to-manuver boat in and out of the dock.
8Kw Westerbeke generator, and battery charger which are standard equipment. But this 4588 was upgraded with a second Magnum Magna Sine MS2812 2800 W inverter and 125A charger.
There is also a large screen TV which folds down out of the way and we also upgraded the seating area with a split power reclining couch.
Deck and Hull Equipment
Another upgrade is the rear mount, quick deploy dingy. The 20 HP motor is electric start and has power trim which allows full motor tip up on beach approach. A side benefit of this dingy arrangement is a more open top deck as the upper dingy perch is now vacant.
