This 1988 Carver 3807 Aft Cabin shows as good as the day it was new. Carver Yachts have a long enjoyed the reputation for designing and building premium yachts and with this particular 396 Aft Cabin Yacht is one of the best most popular models to ever come off the manufacturing line, she has been referred to "as a two-bedroom, 2 bath floating condo"...  Once you are on board her you will see why. When you step down into the Salon you will notice the beautiful wide-open concept and how unbelievably spacious, she feels it's as you through you are aboard a much larger craft. All kept cool or warm at the dock or elsewhere thanks to three zones of reverse cycle air conditioning and a 7.5 kilowatt generator to power them. She offers a wide-open Galley complete with ample countertops space, lots of storage, large refrigerator freezer, stainless dual steel sink, three burner Princes stove with oven. The openness of the Galley is perfect for entertaining and interaction with family and guests. The Master Stateroom is roomy with a new 13-foot beam and a Queen full size boat bed for a comfortable night's sleep, tons of drawer and storage space with cabinets, double hanging lockers full length and a lighted vanity mirror for the Lady of the boat. The best part of this Master Stateroom is the attached private head Jabsco toilet system. The Forward Stateroom has a full size bed and is also very spacious with great storage cabinets/drawers and hanging locker. The forward full Head has great access from the Galley, Forward Stateroom and Salon area, Jabsco toilet system and shower. She has a 20 gallon "quick recovery" hot water heater which is wonderful for multiple showers. A few steps up from the Salon to the topside, aft you find an excellent Cockpit area for entertaining guests and family which boast a bar and refrigerator. The fully enclosed Bridge has a perfect 360 degree for both guess and captain, plenty for comfortable seating and great electronics for navigating to and from ports making it easy to find your destination. REBUILT Twin MERCRUSERS 7.5L Engines give her excellent power to get you where you need to go.

Powerboat Guide Description:

A good-selling model, the Carver 390 Aft Cabin (called the 3807 Aft Cabin 1987–92) is a traditional sundeck yacht whose rakish styling has held up remarkably well over the years. Like most Carvers of her era, the 3807 rides on low-deadrise, solid fiberglass hull with a relatively wide beam. No lightweight, her galley-down interior includes a booth dinette opposite the galley, convertible L-shaped sofa in the salon, and—very rare in a boat this size— separate stall showers in both heads. A lower helm was optional.

With so much living space packed into a 38-foot hull, it comes as no surprise to find the stateroom dimensions on the small side.

Same goes for the aft deck—it’s small with space for maybe two folding chairs and not much else. All of that said, however, the layout obviously worked for buyers because Carver sold a lot of these boats. With her relatively heavy displacement, she’s a lot of boat for gas engines to push around. Standard big-block Crusaders cruise at just 14–15 knots (about 18 knots top). Note that the vast majority of these boats were gas-powered, although Cat or Cummins diesels were optional

Accommodations - Sleeps 6 to 8

She has two private staterooms and will sleep 6 in comfort.  The master stateroom aft has a queen berth, many drawers & cabinets, hanging lockers and private head.  The head has a fully enclosed shower; sink w/storage cabinets, mirrored door.  The guest stateroom is forward with full bed, hanging locker and good storage with private head with shower. There is a drop down dinette which converts to a sleeper, an ultra-leather sofa bed. The vessel is equipped with Three; Cruise Air 16,000, 10,000 and 8,000 btu reverse cycle heat/AC, Hot Water Heater, Pressurized Water System 91 gal tank, two Jabsco heads Septic Holding Tank System 75 gallon tanks.
