This Hunter 22 is a small recreational keelboat, built predominantly of fiberglass, with wood trim. It has a masthead sloop rig, a raked stem, a vertical transom, a transom-hung rudder controlled by a tiller and a fixed fin keel or centerboard. It is normally fitted with a small 3 to 6 hp outboard motor, but a motor is not included with this boat.

This boat was a dream of mine to fix up and learn to sail with, BUT last year I ended up having to stop working and go on disability. I no longer have the ability to finish this project, so I am passing this off to someone who can.
This boat includes the mast, the boom, all 3 sails and cover, American flag, Pirate flag, a copy of Chapman's Boat Piloting, a galvanized trailer with new axle, new bearings and new brakes and the new tail lights have been rewired.
There is one crack on the port side of the hull (see picture with hand for size comparison, about 8" long), and one of the rudder mount bolts needs to be resesaled (see pic). After that is fixed, it can sail!
The sails are in very good shape. No frayed seams etc.
Boat has title.
I hope to sell this classic boat to someone who has a dream of sailing like I did.
5 galvanized metal boat stands in pictures sold separately for $500 (was a part of the original package deal of boat trailer and stands, but I have since separated them)
