Port Tobacco, MDSell a boat like this
1968 Chris Craft Commander 42 twin cabin. Owners have owned the boat since 2012 and primarily used it as a liveaboard in Washington, DC, as well as many weekends anchored out at Three Sisters on the Potomac, upriver from Georgetown. The boat has the original 427 Ford 300hp engines, which have just over 650 hours on them. The 6.5kw Kohler generator has less than 300 hours on it. They have done many upgrades over the years to make the boat a comfortable liveaboard (e.g. insulated ceilings in the salon and aft stateroom, 12 gal. hot water tank, 80 gallon fresh water tanks, 50 gallon blackwater holding tanks, Rug Buddy in-floor heaters) and more functional (e.g. 2000w Outback inverter charger, 100w solar panel, four 12v house batteries).\
Two air conditioners are original--16k BTU (salon) and 12k BTU (aft captain's quarters) reverse cycle AC and heat. Another, newer 12k BTU air conditioner cools the V-berth and galley.
