Frank Mulder Design was challenged by Vicem to produce a state of the art design that could showcase Vicem’s legendary craftsmanship. The interior design, by Art-Line Studios will bring a new definition to the word luxury. The 46M are built in a state-of-the-art facility in Antalya, Turkey. Composite materials, applied with resin infusion and sandwich techniques, were chosen to achieve the best possible strength-to-weight ratios.

The result: 460 GRT, (220 ton displacement), powered by twin 3650 HP MTU engines, that delivers 27 knots top speed and efficient ocean-crossing range at reduced speed. Her three decks plus Sundeck design provides outstanding elegance for a knowledgeable owner, and five cabins of thrilled guests.

This is a 5 stateroom plus main deck master for a total of 6 passenger cabins (12 passengers + 8 crew); Frank Mulder has designed a totally unique yacht with easy access to the foredeck from the boat deck on the port side with the main deck on the starboard side, creating a full beam, on-deck master stateroom. In addition to 6 owner and guest staterooms, the yacht has 3 crew cabins + Captain's Suite near the pilot house, with ensuite heads which has access from the galley. The main tender is on the flybridge deck, and there are 2 wave runners in a transom garage.

Her signature open Atrium design provides 45 feet of unbroken natural lighting, from the very top of the Sundeck all the way down to the Lower Deck. The main deck’s Master Suite uses every inch of this yachts’ 30 foot beam, and includes a CEO’s office and a private gymnasium. A graceful wraparound entry way leads to an inviting Jacuzzi and an arcing full-width head. Far aft is the galley, a dining area for ten, and a relaxing lounge and a spacious upper lounge area.

Mold Ready to Build Hull #2

Vicem's Vulcan line is a fiberglass sandwich (core cell infused with epoxy) Frank Mulder design that is as well built as it is beautiful.  Vicem has a dedication - some say an obsession - to be second to none. This is what motivates Vicem Yachts to build the finest yachts afloat. This dedication will assume a physical, floating presence among the most picturesque harbors in the world.

Hull #1, saw the yacht reach speeds of 28.5 knots, or trans-atlantic capable at hull speeds.  Art Line Studios performed their magic on the interior.  Hull #1 which recently sold, is available for inspection to allow a client to see and feel what Hull #2 will be like.  Call to discuss this beautiful new yacht build.
