Like all yachts in the Viking Sport Cruisers V series, the V-Eighty-five's hull is slightly deeper in its V shape than the motor yacht range, boasting 21 degrees of deadrise at the transom for optimum speed and razor sharp handling. While technically the V-Eighty-five is considered an express yacht, at first glance there is an important distinction from typical express yachts in this size range. Unique to this class of yacht in this size, a small flybridge sits atop the hardtop of the V-Eighty-five just aft of the electro-hydraulic opening sunroof over the salon. Cleverly designed so as not to be a prominent feature in the overall profile, this convenient arrangement features a comfortable seating area and centerline helm with terrific visibility that is ideal when docking or running in tight quarters.
