Tiara Yachts is a family owned company renowned for building high quality boats. Tiara was the first builder to introduce a boat designed specifically for the Volvo IPS pod drive system.The 39' Tiara Sovran is a Euro styled express designed to be powered by the Volvo IPS system. Her ride is soft and dry and the raised air conditioned bridge deck provides exceptional visibility in all conditions. The windshield extends up to join the hardtop and glass fully surrounds the air conditioned bridge deck on three sides, eliminating the need for plastic curtains and making the enclosure water tight. Her cabin is spacious with 6'5" headroom. There is a private stateroom, a large salon featuring a very spacious galley, lounge/dinette, roomy head with stall shower and an aft entertainment area that Tiara calls "The Theater" which converts to a double berth. Boarding the 39' is easy with the full width extra wide swim platform. The transom has a trunk which offers plenty of storage for gear, lines and fenders. Entertaining is easy on the raised cockpit which has comfortable U-shaped seating, table and a refrigerator and sink, making this the perfect spot for family and guests to relax.The Volvo IPS 370 hp diesels feature the pod drives with joy stick control. The propellers are forward facing so they are always cutting through clean, undisturbed water. The engines exhaust underwater through the drives which eliminates exhaust fumes and odors while underway, even in a following sea. The 39 cruises comfortably between 31 and 36 mph depending on rpm and sea condition and is very quiet at 79 to 80 db.
