Every Mercury Remanufactured powerhead is completely disassembled, precision machined, honed, cleaned and reassembled by a team of professional technicians, installing 100% OEM internal components. Each block is bored to a max .030 or re-sleeved, the deck is honed and the crank mains are line-honed. Cylinder heads are machined for flatness When it comes time to replace an outboard powerhead, it is much more efficient to replace it with a Mercury remanufactured assembly than to rebuild it yourself or at a dealership. Utilizing Mercury Remanufactured powerheads also reduces risks taken by a dealer when a rebuilt power head from their dealership or a local builder fails.
