More responsive than competitive throttle bodies with long intake runners, the design provides smooth, quiet operation, along with instant throttle response and performance. Torsion Dampener Sometimes called a flywheel, the torsion dampenerâ¿¿s location near the base of the powerhead lowers the center of gravity for improved handling and hull maneuverability. Top Mounted Electronics Alternators, ignition and other critical electrical components mounted near the top of the powerhead to stay cool and dry for increased dependability. SOHC 3 Valve Design The BF75â¿¿s powerful 1.6L, 4-cylinder design utilizes a single overhead cam, and two intake valves to deliver maximum torque and power. Positive Lubrication A crankshaft-driven, automotive-style trochoid oil pump ensures long-term durability of critical engine components.
