This custom built 21' Zimmer Launch was completed by the Great Lakes Boat Building School in May, 2009. She was awarded 2nd place in the Wooden Replica class at the Annual Hessel Boat Show. The school, located in the Les Chenaeux Islands, offers a quality educational program designed to teach quality wooden boat building. The Zimmer Launch is a fine example of craftsmanship, woodworking, traditional boat building and yacht joinery. Combine the state-of-art facility with expert instructors and professional curriculum, and the result is this one-of-a-kind beauty. Powered by an Elco electric engine she runs for approximately 6 hours with a hull speed of 6 knots.
