2009 GLASTRON SSV 170, Glastron SSV 170 with a new Yamaha 70 hp and trailer. This is a brand new model for Glastron. It was unveiled at the 2009 dealer meeting. Glastron has introduced their new "SSV" hull with this boat. SSV stands for super stable hull. We water tested this boat and were immediately impressed with how it tracked and handled through out maneuvers. This boat was made to target an entry level segment of boating; however, after going for a ride you'll understand why this boat rivals most mid to upper level sport boats. Faster planing, tighter turns, and enhanced stability proves that this boat was created using cutting edge technology. The combination of light weight and hydrodynamic efficiency results in another big advantage: excellent fuel economy. This boat is equipped with a ski tow bar, bow seats, molded swim platform, smoked windscreen, 6" cleats, passenger grab handles, ski locker, instrument cluster, stainless steel boarding ladder, and much more.
