2008 SUNDANCE BOATS INC K16FLX, The K16FLX is our flats boat version in our K-Series (FLX = Flats Style + Long Rear Deck). It is set up for stand up sight casting in protected waters. The console is positioned aft so you sit on the rear deck while under way. The long rear deck has a 10-gallon aerated livewell with a high-speed pick-up. A four switch electrical panel, aerator pump and automatic bilge pump are standard. The panel circuits are now protected with press-to-reset circuit breakers. We have added wire conduits glassed into the floor to hull edge for ease in pulling wires forward for trolling motors and other electrical equipment. The steering wheel is a 13-inch stainless steel wheel. Custom built double rod racks are mounted on both sides of console. The custom molded Lexan windshield and stainless steel console hand rail are standard. The 10-gallon fuel tank is located inside of the console and has a fuel fill on the port side of the console. The standard XL front deck is fully glassed and integrated into the hull with a commercial finish that matches the interior. The upgrade Yacht Finish Front Deck has a slick finished diamond non-skid surface. We recommend the upgrade Yacht Finish Front Deck on this model so that the two large decks match. The standard front deck hatch has been increased in size on both front decks. The stern and bow light poles are stored in clips under the front deck. A very nice option is the 48-quart Igloo cooler with cushion mounted in front of the console.
