Deck and Hull Equipment:
The Jersey Cape 48 hull design incorporates a tunnel drive for less shaft angle, a more efficient transfer of power to the prop, and reduced draft (3' 8"). Donald Blount & Associates was commissioned to use their expertise in shoal draft hull design to draft the lines. Another aspect of the hull design is the full, above the waterline, bow configuration which allows for enhanced space in the forward owner's stateroom.
