2009 JONES BROTHERS Bateau 20, The Bateau 20 is probably the sweet spot for price, performance and utility in the Bateau line. It's an excellent fishing boat, that's easy to handle in tidal marshes, sounds, and bays. Owners also appreciate the boat for its fuel economy and very low maintenance. The Water Women - The Morehead City area has many ladies that use the Bateau to meet friends on a barrier island for a hike, stop by a point or sandbar for shells or sand dollars, watch a sunset, or go for morning coffee at a waterfront restaurant. And when the Spots are running, they gather up friends and family and go fishing. The Family Sedan - For many kids on the coast this boat is their first "car". They aren't old enough to drive an automobile, but can safely roam the county and visit friends via boat. They often ride to Shackleford or Cape Lookout to fish, hunt and ski, boogie board or surf.
