2007 WHITICAR Custom Sportfish, 2007 Whiticar Custom Sportfish, 1977/2007 TWENTY TWO MONTHS AND OVER 12,000 MAN HOURS IN THIS COMPLETE REBUILD New 540 HP Cummins, 17 KW Onan Generator, AC units, 880 Gallons of fuel, 100 Gallons of water. She has been stripped down to the bare hull. The interior has a total re-design from the old layout. She has raised queen island berth forward with high gloss teak sea rail, cedar lined hanging lockers,large deep drawer storage under berth and teak book shelves and cabinets above berth. Guest stateroom is now on the port side with upper and lower bunks with teak sea rails, cedar lined hanging locker, washer and dryer, carpet and privacy door. Head is to starboard with shower stall and built in bench seat, vanity with granite top, teak and holly floor and teak interior. Companion way has teak and holly floor. Galley is up and to port with microwave, granite tops with cabinets above and below, teak and holly floor, island with bar stools and SubZero under counter drawer refrigeration to starboard with ice maker. Above refrigeration you will see Sharp flat screen TV and Denon stereo system. Salon has teak and white leather sofa with rod storage underneath to starboard with built in end-tables with drawer storage to both port and starboard as you enter the high gloss teak salon doors. Also to port is a swivel barrel chair. There is Halogen lighting in headliner and carpet over flooring. All wiring, plumbing, sinks and faucets are new. Engine compartment was sanded down glassed and painted, insulation and Delta T vents were installed. Cockpit is teak with teak covering boards, transom door, fish box, live well, freezer, drink box, tackle drawers, fresh/salt water wash down, seating and plumbing for Eskimo machine. All windows, hatches and salon doors have been replaced. Flybridge was rebuilt and reconfigured. It now has a console with plenty of room for electronics, teak pod, and single lever controls. Their are two teak Scopinch helms chairs, bench seating with rod storage to port, and forward bench seating with storage in front of console. Accomodations:
Walking onto the teak cockpit you see to port a live well, refrigerated drink box, and deep chest freezer. To starboard there is a five drawer tackle center, sink/bait prep station, storage cabinet, and insulated ice box. Lids for insulated ice box and live well were designed to make comfortable seating when running or on long days trolling. On center line of cockpit above teak step with storage underneath, you enter the salon through a pair of beautiful high gloss teak salon doors. Opening the salon doors you have custom teak tables port and starboard with granite tops and four nice size deep drawers. Beige Berber carpet surrounds salon floor with teak and holly flooring in galley, companion way and head. Custom built-in teak sofa with white leather cushion, carpeted storage or rod storage under sofa. Looking to port you see a tan barrel chair and in front of island you have two white leather stools with teak pedestal. The entire salon was meticulously constructed with teak veneer and solid teak molding. The teak has a gorgeous satin finish with high gloss details throughout. The u-shaped galley is forward and to port with a large peninsula, granite tops, double basin stainless steel sink, espresso maker, and more. Entertainment center is to starboard with large flat screen TV and stereo. Headliner has nine flush mounted lights and windows are all tinted with teak valances. Walking down three teak steps you see GUEST STATEROOM to port with two large high gloss teak framed upper and lower bunks, washer and dryer, cedar lined hanging locker with three drawers below, Floor lighting, Berber carpet, reading lights above berths and bed coverings. Across from guest stateroom and across teak and holly companion way you have head with teak vanity, granite top, teak and holly flooring and nice size shower stall. Forward and in the bow you have MASTER STATEROOM with island berth, three large teak drawers underneath, cedar lined hanging lockers to port and starboard with four drawers under starboard locker. Above berth which has high gloss teak trim you see large hatch and three teak storage compartments on each side of berth with a nice size shelf forward. Stateroom has five flush mounted lights in head liner, two reading lights forward of berth, Berber carpet and teak in a satin finish with high gloss molding. All doors going into staterooms and head are teak with a satin finish and high gloss molding. Mechanical Equipment:
Engine compartment was ground down to bare wood, engine mounts and stringers were strenghtened for higher power engines, hull bottom was strengthened with 1" layer of high density urethane and fiberglass. Aft and forward bulkheads and port and starboard hull sides were glassed and tied into hull bottom. All surfaces faired and painted. A layer of sound insulation and heat insulation were installed.
