SUPERSTRUCTURE / SALOON / BRIDGE
The fiberglass superstructure, with a polished gel coat exterior finishing, contains the saloon and the helm station. The latter is made up of a fiberglass instrument dashboard with aluminum panels and matt carbon finishing for the navigational instruments of the engines and the appliances on board; storage space and housing for audio-video equipment on either side.
Mechanical Equipment:
The engine room can be accessed through a watertight door in painted L.A. from the companionway for the crew quarters. In addition to the main engines and gen sets, this room also contains the air conditioning compressors, electric pumps, batteries, fresh water autoclave, automatic FM200 fire extinguisher system and all of the accessories relating to the propulsion units. Gen sets - 2 X 15.5 kW 60 Hz, 900 hours each.
The main engine exhaust manifolds are made of insulated stainless steel; fiberglass mufflers are located in the bulwarks. The gen sets have independent exhaust manifolds with mufflers and smoke/water separators. Air intakes are positioned in the bulwarks to provide air flow, with a remote closure system whilst the engine room blowers allow a continuous change of air.
Galley:
Aft of the helm is the dining area, with elliptical steel and glass extensible table, seating for six and pear wood wall hutch for dishes, flatware, glasses and cups. On the starboard side of the saloon, the well sized dinette is made up of a semicircular sofa with leather padding and a coffee table in satin-finished steel and toughened glass; accessorized by a fitted natural fiber rug.
The adjacent pear wood cabinet houses a 60-lt top-opening stainless steel refrigerator. This area, besides having its own independent air conditioning system, also has a retractable 32" plasma TV with a remote controlled electric lifting system and a Hi-Fi (Digital Home Cinema System) with amplifier for aft external waterproofed speakers. The bulkheads and the overhead are covered in a vinyl material, and lighting is provided by spotlights that are sunk into the overhead with dimmer. A part of the roof above the dinette can be opened electrically. The structural fiberglass floor in this area is in matt polished teak wood. Two aircraft style side doors with electric or manual opening mechanism give access to the d eck. Aft of the saloon, on the port side, there is a stairway with natural teak steps, fiberglass bulkheads and courtesy lights leading down to the galley/dinette the crew cabins and the engine room. A door separates these rooms from the upper deck.
Aft of the saloon, a manually opening glass and stainless steel sliding door separates the interior from the exterior; it can be shaded with ivory roller curtains with electric movement. The side windows are in layered grey smoked glass as is the rear sliding door, whilst the front windshield is in layered transparent glass.
The window portion aft of the side doors features beige sliding pliss? curtains. Outside, on the starboard side a fiberglass unit with anti-roll racks, provided inside with teak shelves, houses the sink with fresh water faucet. On the floor is a hatchway that offers secondary access to the crew cabins and engine room, as well as an emergency exit. In front of the sunbed is a fiberglass sofa with afterpeaks and smooth white vinyl cushions, a natural teak table and three chairs of anodized L.A. and canvas.
Electonics and Navigational Gear:
The two seats at the helm station are upholstered in leather, and fitted on a polished pear wood unit with two opening doors. The driver seat can be electrically adjusted, the co-pilot seat can be manually adjusted. This area is slightly elevated and has a matt polished teak strip floor.
Between the helm station and the starboard door is the stairway leading down to the sleeping quarters, with natural teak steps and bulkheads in pear wood; completing the stairway, courtesy lights and wooden handrail complete with chrome end sections. The motor yacht will be equipped with the following electronic apparatus:
Autopilot X ST-7000 Plus RAYTHEON
Log/Eco RAYTHEON Tridata indicator
Radar-Chartplotter
VHF Shipmate RS 8400
Radiofrequency portable intercom (4)
Cordless-type cabin intercom
Electronic single lever controls with trolling valves
LCD color display monitor
Electrical System:
It's split into three sections:
a) 24 V service system utilizes regulation cables and is powered by 660 Amp/h lead batteries that are recharged by the port engine alternator or from three 80 Amp battery chargers powered by the generators or the shore power.
b) engine starter system: utilizes regulation cables and is powered by two lead battery groups that are paralleled to provide a total of 480 Amp/h that are recharged from the starboard engine alternator or from the battery chargers. A battery paralleling system allows, by means of the service batteries, the main engines to be started up even when the engine starter batteries are low.
c) 220 V 60 Hz system, powered by two 15.5 Kw 60 Hz Kohler generators or from the shore power. The circuits powered by this system are: the battery chargers, the boiler, the various electrical outlets, the electrical appliances in the galley, the air conditioning and television/Hi-Fi systems. There is also a 12 V system that is used for the navigational equipment, stereo systems, and anything else that does not run on 24 V.
The control panel for the appliances on board is located at the helm station and is equipped with toggle switches and dig ital gauges. The main power panel is located in the crew cabin companionway and is fitted with circuit breakers and fuses. A secondary power panel, with circuit breakers, is installed in the galley to allow direct control of the various household appliances installed. A 100 A shore power cable is included.
d) Isolation transformer.
Deck and Hull Equipment:
HULL: female molded construction with single-ply bottom, closed-cell PVC core sandwich sides; vinylester resin. Longitudinal and transversal stringers are polyurethane-cored.
DECK AND SUPERSTRUCTURE: Female moulded construction with closed-cell PVC core sandwich vacuum infusion lamination with vinylester resin.
Main structural bulkheads and interior structural platforms (with the exception of the engine room) are a sandwich construction laminated with "SCRIMP system" vacuum infusion. The structural tanks for: fuel, fresh water, grey water and black water are laminated with vinylester resin.
Areas of the deck such as: the bow area, the side walkways, the walk-on areas in the cockpit, the aft platform and steps are finished in teak sealed with black poly-merised rubber. Other areas, according to the position, have a non-slip finish or a polished gel coat like the hull and the super-structure.
Additional Equipment:
The large sunbed with white vinyl cushions and headrest is located on the starboard side of the dinette. The outside dinette is illuminated by built-in overhead spotlights. The overhead also includes two watertight 80 W DC loudspeakers with independent control. Underneath the sunbed is the hangar with hydraulic opening for the tender and, upon request, a PWC (type SEA DOO XP, 135 hp). An electro-hydraulic telescopic davit with a capacity of 882 lb is fitted to move the tender. The hangar is fitted with drains, fresh water outlets, watertight electrical outlet, and fixed
waterproof lighting.
The retractable gangway is housed under the port side stairs leading to the cockpit; on starboard side is a shower with pressure tap. Forward of the windshield is a large sunbed with white sky cushions. To the sides, along the side walkways, two afterpeaks for storing fenders and two life rafts are fitted.
