Accomodations:
There is ample seating in the enclosed and air-conditioned lower deck, with both covered and uncovered open air seating on the top deck. There is a well-appointed snack bar and bar in the cabin, as well as some of the most comfortable seating available in the ferry market today (the owners even made them remove a few rows of seats just to make sure there was enough leg room for their passengers). The total available seat count is 174, with 122 in the interior. Seating is all chairs, not benches. The U.S. Coast Guard capacity is 149 passengers.
Mechanical Equipment:
The vessel operates at 30 knots light, 29 knots fully loaded. Fuel consumption for both engines combined is 130 gph at full power. This low fuel consumption combined with her low crew count requirement of one captain plus two crew make her a very economical and environmentally-friendly vessel to operate.This twin-hulled catamaran reached speeds of 31 knots during her trial run.
