The three year custom build project that culminated with the christening of "Blacksox" in 2007 has brought this Duffy 42 to the forefront of the "gentlemen's" self sufficient fishing, cruising vessel. The subtle design refinements, beautiful fiberglass finish work, commercial grade mechanical, and electrical components, and "over the top" options list all combine to make a statement that speaks to appreciative devotees of the "Down East" style. Electrical System:
The customized electrical system is energized by multiple 12 volt batteries, a 240/120 Volt 12.5 KW Westerbeake Gen set in a sound shield, or shore power, utilizing dual 30 Amp cords incorporating the Glendenning electric retrieval system. The comprehensive main saloon breaker panel allows for complete control of electrical demands, and is easily accessed from the inspection panel revealing a numbered, labeled, and coded wiring system. The bonding system is to commercial grade specifications.

Deck and Hull Equipment:
