Electonics and Navigational Gear:
Dana Louise has been outfitted by an owner that was very technically knowledgeable and as a result has a very advanced package of electronics on board. The primary display used for navigation is the large LCD display mounted on an articulating arm. This unit serves both a primary chart display and a regular TV when not underway.Navigation on Dana Louise was PC based using Nobeltec software. Both the lower and the FB helm are equipped with GPS input, power and link to the Raymarine system. Please Note: the owner will NOT be leaving his laptop with the boat, BUT he is providing a $2000 allowance for the new owner to purchase their own PC and software. As you look at the photos you will note several other LCD displays at the Lower Helm. Bottom left is the display for the weather system (sensors mounted on the FB Bimini) that provides barometer, temperature, and wind direction and speed. Directly above the weather display is the Raymarine RL70C/radar display. Just to the right is the white engine room temperature display and the Raymarine ST6001 autopilot control. Below the ST6001 display is the Raymarine depth-sounder. The Yanmar engine instruments are standard and the two Murphy Fuel Filter vacuum gauges are located directly above the helm. On the top right hand corner you will see the Raymarine GPS display.Electronics on the FB helm include a custom mount for the laptop PC on the left, repeater for the depth sounder, ram for the VHF, remote for the autopilot, and connections for the Garmin 182 GPS chart plotter. The PDQ features a very "smart" Prosime inverter charger that makes manageing power on board very easy. Please note the recent price reduction! The owner is very anxious to see new owners out cruising Dana Louise this summer! Dana Louise is the first of the 2004 model year PDQ-34's although she still shows a 2003 in the HIN#. The boat was delivered late in the summer of 2003 and has been cruised extensively since then. It could be said that the hull "led the way" for many improvements that would become standard on future hulls. The owner had the factory install numerous custom upgrades (like stainless steel ports). And then went on to install the latest in PC and marine electronics technology. This boat is just full of "neat" upgrades that make cruising even more enjoyable.
