Accomodations:
The Ocean Alexander 548 has a main salon that is separated from the pilothouse, dinette, and galley. There is a pass-through from the galley for convenient service to the salon. The interior was tastefully redecorated in 2005 and is in excellent condition. Entertainment center includes all of the electronic necessities, also with a wine cabinet. The amidships master stateroom has a centerline queen bed and ensuite head. The forward VIP stateroom has a centerline queen berth and the guest stateroom has two lower single berths. The master stateroom carries a subtle oriental them with Shoji screens over the port holes and a large mirror over the bed. All mattresses, covers and bedding new in 2005. The ensuite head offers an oversized shower stall. Just down the companionway behind custom louvered doors is the full size Maytag washer / dryer (installed new 2005). There is a guest head with shower that serves the two guest staterooms. Both heads recently upgraded to VacuFlush systems. In 2005 the main salon was tastefully redecorated with custom made furniture, custom disappearing shades to accentuate the designer drapes and tinted windows with UV protection A custom built entertainment center holds a DVD and VCR players along with a Sony 5-speaker surround sound stereo system, all the audio equipment plus a new (2008) HDCD player that is enclosed in the top cabinet An enclosed 28-bottle wine storage rack with bar equipment storage drawer in the bottom cabinet were also new in 2008.
