This was the last year for Carver's popular 38 Santego. This unique low-profile sedan bridge offers an almost "one-space" layout from both outside and in. The aft seating in the spacious cockpit, the very gentle access to the low-slung bridge, then the passageway from bridge to foredeck allow for easy-on-the-knees travel from stem to stern and a very sociable arrangement for the maximum number of friends. Below, there are uninterrupted sight lines from the cabin door through the salon, galley and all the way to the forward berth. The main salon area has a friendly and comfortable opposed seating arrangement. The galley strung along the port side and opposed to a wet-bar has plenty of workspace and storage. Sleeps six in private master forward and two convertible dinettes. Master features Island queen bed, hanging lockers, drawers and Sharp flat panel TV and Accurian DVD player. Salon has large comfortable c-shaped settees facing each other which convert to sleepers. There is also a large hi-lo table. TV/VCR w/FM radio and Memorex DVD player.

Galley:
Galley features a Nova Kool full size refrigerator/freezer, a two burner electric stove, a generous stainless circular sink and a Sharp carousel microwave. Black and Decker spacesaver coffeemaker. There is ample storage in cabinets and drawers both above and below the counters. Opposed to the galley is a wet bar and storage below offering additional counter space for entertaining.
