2002 ALERION Express 28, The Alerion Express has been a major success since introduction in 1991; combining traditional aesthetic appeal, lively performance, a wonderful cockpit and ease of handling, she is the right boat for many sailors who demand quality and fine sailing characteristics but lack the time or family interest for extended cruising. "Moira Elizabeth" (Hull # 204) incorporates all the refinements made to this much admired model including the heavier "Whales Tail" keel, the Hoyt jib boom, the improved cockpit and upgraded deck hardware. She is also equipped with nearly all available options including a facing genoa and spinnaker (both rarely used); she has a full Autohelm ST60 package including 10" color GPS Plotter (oncompanionway bracket), Autohelm 4000 Autopilot and cockpit repeaters.
