The Cockpit offers a large 10'X 10'area for entertaining and lounging. A Corian top table also doubles as the housing for the out board motor. The large fiberglass top with eisenglass dodger offers lots of shade for the cockpit, while supporting two large solar panels. Six Lemar hatches plus opening ports allow for great ventilation. The Shuttlecat is a double spreader rig with dual head sails, mail sail and running back stays. Stainless standing rigging with Sta-Locks. All haylards lead to the cockpit. A single daggerboard with a draft of 7'with the board down and with the rudders up 18" for beach cruising. A John Schuttleworth design built in Bokeelia, Florida by custom builder Dale Schneider. The Shuttleworth technology is one of those great advances in hull design as it shows in the boats performance plus greatly improves the interior space. A core cell fiberglass sandwhich hull gives this boat its strength without the added weight.
