2000 ISLAND HOPPER USCG Certified Dive Boat, The first Island Hopper was built in Marathon, the heart of the Keys, for the demanding lobster industry some 28 years ago. The goal was to build a durable vessel, for the open ocean, at a reasonable cost that would deliver years of trouble free service. They have earned the reputation that quality and strength come first in the building of their boats. In fact, the ISLAND HOPPER 30 can be found around the world, from Guam to Cozumel, to the Canary Islands and all over the shores of the United States performing the duties they were built for. Island Hoppers are utilized in charter dive and fish operations, as well private pleasure vessels providing fun and entertainment year in and year out. "Otra Vez" is currently operating as a dive boat in Puerto Rico and is USCG certified for 19 passengers, 2 crew or 14 divers. She has undergone the new stability tests and has all required safety gear. She has a 26 draft for ease of access to prime areas in shallow water. Her beam of 12 provides ample deck space and added stability, and her long planning hull design gives her exceptional fuel economy even under harsh conditions. With her custom enclosed cabin and air-conditioning she is ideal for both commercial and recreational use. Please contact Paul Rubin direct at (772) 321-2435 for additional information
