This 40' Pilothouse Eagle Trawler is Hull #12. She is a single stateroom yacht, with a spacious forward stateroom featuring a centerline queen. EVENING STAR has salty lines and a graceful sheer with a tug boat flair and a cruise-worthy hull design. She is economical burning 3-3.5 gph at 8.5 knots on a solid fiberglass semi-displacement hull. She has a comfortable, bright Main Salon for relaxing and an aft deck for lounging or fishing. The Pilothouse has a full size settee for enjoying the 360 degree view. Accommodations & Layout:
The Pilothouse is three steps up from the Salon & Galley and features a full size sleeping berth settee with a table. There are port and starboard doors and a large storage locker. The Master stateroom is forward down three steps and is complete with a centerline island queen berth and two hanging lockers and plenty of drawers for storage. The Head is ensuite to the MSR and is to starboard, while a large separate Shower is to port.
Aft of the Pilothouse down three steps is the plush Salon and the well equipped Chef's Galley. The Salon's settee converts to a berth for two. Up three steps aft starboard side leads to the fantail deck cockpit, which in turn has access up a ladder to the hidden low profile Flybridge control station. There is safe and ample side deck access to the bow from the cockpit.
Pilothouse:
Located mid-ship with teak entry doors both port and starboard. Helm is to starboard with seating/sleeping settee berth to port and large chart table with storage to port. Easy access to all machinery through four teak and holly hatches in sole. Large storage cabinet to starboard. Passageway centerline forward to Master Stateroom and Head and Shower. Aft passageway down to Galley and Salon.
Master Stateroom:
Located in the bow accessed from Pilothouse down four steps. The Master Stateroom has an island queen bed and is loaded with storage, book shelves, hanging lockers, huge private head, attractive counter and sink, mirrors and separate stall shower. The shower has a seat, special shelves and is wide, high, open and light. It’s well thought out and very inviting.
