DESCRIPTION
Innovation is an abused term in the marine industry where sometimes minor improvements are touted as a design breakthrough. In the case of the 3575 Esprit it's fair to say that this really is a boat that's different and quite innovative. Beginning with the unusual helm seating in the cockpit and featuring a wide-open mid-cabin interior with no bulkhead (unusual for a 35 footer), the Esprit offers something different in a sea of me-too express cruiser designs. In this floor plan the owner's stateroom, with walk around queen berth and a full 6 feet of headroom, is aft-a very unusual configuration indeed. The exterior styling is crisp and handsome in spite of the raised deck profile, and the gracefully integrated bow platform is unique. The 3575 is built on a fully cored hull with prop pockets.
ACCOMMODATIONS
The 3575 Esprit will sleep (4) owners and guests in (2) staterooms. The master is located forward and offers - elevated diagonal queen berth, drawers and hanging lockers for personal gear. The guest stateroom is located in the aft end of the cabin. It appears to be a couch by day and a double berth by night. One thing that is very impressive with this boat is this berth. Unlike most mid-cabin configurations, this berth is out in the open. It is not tucked at the back of the cabin like an afterthought. The large head compartment is located on the port side of the cabin just behind the forward berth and opposite the dinette. It has the following features: Vanity sink with hot/cold pressure water, VacuFlush head with pump-out capabilities and a shower. The cockpit is very large for a 35 footer. It is not unusual for a given sized Cruisers to be as spacious as a competitors larger model. The outside seating is as follows: Elevated double wide helm seat to starboard, half moon shaped companion seat to port for 2-3 people, and a 'L'-shaped stern seat located in the port corner of the cockpit. There is a molded step on the starboard side to make boarding easier, a transom door in the starboard corner of the cockpit and a walk through windshield. In addition, one will find a cabinet with a sink located just behind the helm seat and the transom offers molded fiberglass fender racks.
