No expense was spared when "HOPE" (ex-name Lady Diane) underwent a "major" refit from 1995 through 1997 at LeClercq Marine at a rumored cost of over $10,000,000.Meticulous attention was paid to every aspect of her design. HOPE'S exceptional hand crafted decor is matched by an innovative layout that provides numerous areas for relaxing and formal entertaining in the most elegant feel and comfort.Hand selected Honduras mahogany, raised and field paneling, ceiling fixtures, and exquisite murals and paintings by Russel Blackburn enhance the Mediterranean atmosphere and stately interior throughout the yacht.Each of the four owner and guest staterooms are spacious with king or queen beds with ample wardrobe capacity and port lights. The custom fabrics were selected by designer Christine Hallen-Berg and contribute to the cozy elegance, providing each with its own distinct color scheme. Each room has its own private bath with color coordinated marble accents. The master stateroom has an office area if you need to stay connected to the outside world. Two separate crew cabins one with upper and lower berths and one queen berth cabin with shared head are located aft of the pilothouse.The main deck, which includes walk around side decks, is devoted to luxurious amenities and entertainment options for all. The huge hand-painted hutch in the salon hides not only the entertainment electronics but the dining salon from view. Hidden mahogany and glass pocket doors in the dining salon wall open to reveal a showcase galley where guests are welcome to watch the master chef at work or close off for privacy. The center island galley, with comfortable stools invite impromtu cooking demonstrations from the chef or acts as a great social bar for entertaining. Dining on any of the three decks is routine.Guests select the timing, place and the formality of each meal.A large variety of water sport options await each guest. Sport equipment includes: diving and snorkel gear, Bauer 3.5 dive compressor, and (2) Nautica tenders. The cockpit features an eight-person jacuzzi and dive tank center. There are full outside bars on the sun deck and flybridge.The state of the art commitment is especially evident in the wheelhouse and flybridge navigation stations. Wheelhouse instruments are enpaneled in custom crafted Honduras mahogany and arranged for maximuim visibility. There is an elegant 10' settee behind the 3' Stidd helm seats also for incredible viewing for guests while underway. Tucked under the flybridge overhang is an aft facing settee for al fresco dining, yet protected from the sun or rain. The flybridge has full remote instrumention and guest seating with full bar and (5) stools under the radar arch behind the flybridge helm and new custom sunning beds molded in.
